Volunteering at Eldercare: Books We've Read Aloud

Type here the books you've already read to the folks at Eldercare Center, so others can see what sorts of books we're reading and we don't start getting repeats.

  • Tuesday, June 13, 2006-From James Herriot's writings: One dog story and one cat story; reader, Brenda Graves-Blevins
  • Tuesday, August 22, 2006-"Ten Ways to Look at Columbia (by bus)" from Boone County Fare. Call#PS536.B6. In the 1970's, a guy decided to ride each city bus route to see Columbia, Missouri. It was an odd short story, but it was full of local landmarks that started a lot of conversations. We had a great time and I learned a lot about our city. It was fun to talk about our local history and how our city has changed over the last three decades. reader, Kathy Peters
